We accept clean, usable donations at our Uvalde and Hondo stores. Clothing, shoes, books, décor and household finds help keep good things in our community—and out of the landfill.

How donations are used
Donated items may be offered for resale in our stores or online. Our Community Voucher Program provides direct clothing assistance to local individuals and families. Ask our team about donating, the voucher program, or your donation-day thank-you discount.

Life is hard enough. Feeling good in your clothes should not be one more struggle.
It started with students who needed a voice
Our voucher program began because local students were going without the clothing they needed, and their needs were going unheard. Some parents felt ashamed to ask for help. We wanted to make asking a little easier—and make sure the help offered came with dignity, choice and care.
A child deserves to walk into school feeling comfortable and confident. A parent deserves to ask for support without feeling that they have failed. Needing help is part of being human. You belong here when life is going well, and you belong here when it is hard.
The same racks. The same beautiful clothes.
There is no hidden closet of lesser clothing for voucher shoppers. You choose from the everyday clothing we curate for our stores—the same racks our other customers shop.
We work to offer clean, cared-for, in-style clothing that people can feel good wearing. Torn, dirty or stained clothes do not meet the standard we want for our shoppers. Receiving assistance should still mean finding something you like, something that fits, and something that feels like you.
That choice matters. Clothes can help someone feel ready to walk into a classroom, go to work or face a difficult day. Sometimes feeling comfortable in what you wear helps you find confidence that has been hidden—and the courage to use your voice.
When our neighbors need us
The need for help does not always come gradually. A flood or a house fire can take away the belongings someone has spent a lifetime gathering. In those moments, we want our neighbors to know they can reach out to the community thrift store they have supported.
You have shown up for us through your donations, purchases and kindness. Our goal is to show up for you, too—to listen, help with clothing needs where we can, and make room for you as you begin again.

Cowboy N Lollipops is a locally owned business built around the people we serve. We get to know our neighbors, listen to what they need, and work with them to find practical ways to help.
Our team members are paid employees. We believe in providing livable wages and giving our team opportunities to grow alongside the business. Sorting donations, stocking shelves, helping shoppers, and preparing clothing assistance all take time and paid work.
When we come in early or stay late for a voucher appointment, our team is still paid for that time. Rent, utilities, supplies, and wages continue even when clothing is provided at no charge. Helping someone has a cost, and we choose to make room for that work.
Donations and purchases help us keep the stores running, support paid local jobs, and continue offering community assistance. Building a sustainable business gives us a way to keep showing up for people.
As we grow, our team should grow with us—and our community should share in that growth.
